 Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TATSO) General Secretary Okan Özoğlu had a visit to Tarsus Commodity Exchange.

This year within the scope of the URGE project in Berlin Fruit Logistica Fair with the members of the Exchange were also visited in TATSO, exchanged views on trade relations with Germany.

Tarsus Commodity Exchange Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Ali Secor, Turkish-German Trade and Industry Chamber (TATSO) Secretary General Okan Özoğlu of his visit to the trade between Turkey and Germany and is among the priorities for Tarsus to the development of economic relations, stressing Tarsuslu for business people to sign their new business contacts in Germany highlighted the importance of developing collaborations on an institutional basis. Ali Seçer stated that they joined the Berlin Fruit Logistica Fair within the scope of URGE Project in order to increase the foreign trade relationship with Germany and they aim to bring together the members of the Borsa TATSO in Germany and the sectoral organizations. What is important now is to provide the sector meetings and to create the necessary conditions for the creation of reliable, healthy trade between the two countries. It is obvious that we wish to have more extensive cooperation. We want, in Germany, Berlin, especially in the food sector for goods in the Turkish goods as a priority consumption. This will only be achieved through a close cooperation.

Okan Özoğlu, Secretary General of the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, gave information on the services that the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry can provide to the Turkish Businesses.

Germany is the most important trade partner for Turkey Özoğlu stressed, "We see the advantages of the development of bilateral trade alongside the political partnership. 1300 Turkish companies in Germany 1.8 billion euros, 7 thousand 100 German companies have invested 12 billion euros in Turkey. We are importing 22 billion dollars for our 15 billion dollar export. We aim to create a balance in mutual trade, Karşılık he said.
